Fall Closing

Close It Right. Open It Easy.

A thorough fall close protects your property through a Northern Ontario winter and means less work when you return in spring. We deep clean the full interior before winterization so your cottage is clean when it reopens.

  • Deep clean all surfaces before winter shutdown
  • Clear refrigerator and all food storage
  • Clean and seal all drains
  • Remove all soft furnishings to storage if required
  • Pest prevention steps — close off entry points
  • Deck furniture secured and stored
  • Final walkthrough and condition report

Deck, Patio & Exterior Cleaning

Post-Winter Exterior Reset

Decks, docks, and patios accumulate debris, mildew, and winter grime. Our spring exterior clean sweeps, washes, and restores your outdoor living areas so they're ready to use from your first visit.

Mid-Season Deck Clean

Heavy-use decks and BBQ areas need attention through the season. We can include a deck sweep and surface wipe with any mid-season or rental turnover clean.

Pressure Washing Available

Pressure washing for decks, docks, siding, and patio stone is available as an add-on. Northern Ontario summer algae and mildew respond well to annual pressure washing — see our Pressure Washing page.

Cottage Cleaning — Common Questions

We serve cottage country throughout the North Bay and Sudbury regions — including Lake Nipissing, Lake Nosbonsing, Trout Lake, French River, and surrounding areas. Contact us with your cottage location and we'll confirm whether it's within our service range.
Spring is our busiest booking season for cottage cleaning. We recommend booking your spring opening clean in February or March to secure your preferred date. Popular lakes fill up quickly — early booking ensures you get cleaned before the May long weekend.
Our spring opening clean covers the full interior: removing winter covers, wiping down all surfaces, cleaning appliances, scrubbing bathrooms and kitchen, washing windows, vacuuming and mopping floors, addressing any musty odours from the off-season, and clearing any debris from entryways and common areas. We note any issues we find (moisture damage, pest activity, etc.) and report them to you.
Yes. Mid-season cleans and turnover cleans for rental cottages are available. If your cottage is rented through Airbnb, VRBO, or private booking, we can coordinate turnover cleaning between guests. See our Airbnb & Rental Cleaning page for details.
If your cottage has rental guests throughout the season, we can set up a recurring turnover schedule alongside your opening and closing cleans. Many cottage owners use Binx for the full season — opening, guest turnovers, and closing — so the property is managed end to end.
