What Is Cleaning for a Reason?
Cleaning for a Reason is a non-profit organization that partners with professional cleaning companies across North America to provide free home cleaning for women undergoing treatment for any type of cancer.
The organization was founded on a simple insight: when you're going through cancer treatment, housework becomes impossible — but a clean home matters enormously for your health, your mood, and your dignity. That's where Cleaning for a Reason comes in.
Binx has been a registered Cleaning for a Reason partner since our founding in 2013. We donate cleaning services to qualifying women in North Bay and Sudbury.

Who Qualifies?
Any woman currently undergoing treatment for any type of cancer may be eligible. There is no income requirement.
To apply:
- Visit cleaningforareason.org to complete an application
- Your application is matched with a partner cleaning company in your area
- Two free cleanings are provided — each one month apart
If you know someone who may qualify — a family member, friend, or patient — please share this page. Applications are made through the Cleaning for a Reason website, not directly through Binx.
