We primarily work with vinyl composition tile (VCT), which is the most common commercial flooring. We also maintain hardwood and other commercial floor types. Not all floor types are suitable for traditional strip-and-wax — we assess on site.

Most commercial floors benefit from a full strip-and-wax once or twice a year, with buffing maintenance every 1-3 months to extend the shine and protect the finish.

Yes — floor care work is almost always done after hours or on weekends because the floor needs to be clear of foot traffic while product cures.

Stripping removes all old wax layers down to bare floor. Waxing applies new protective finish coats. Buffing (or burnishing) uses a high-speed buffer to polish and restore shine to existing wax. Most floors need all three annually, with buffing more frequently.
